Clarify Your Offer – How to Build a Business Around Impact

If you're a coach, strategist, or legacy-focused entrepreneur, you've probably felt the tension between wanting to help everyone and needing a clear offer to grow.

Let’s change that.

The right offer isn’t just about price — it’s about clarity, alignment, and transformation. Here's how to build one that attracts clients, honors your mission, and sets the foundation for lasting success.

1. Define the Transformation (Not Just Your Title)

Most new coaches lead with titles:

“I’m a financial strategist.”

“I help with budgeting.”

But what actually sells?

Transformation.

Ask yourself:

What problem does my ideal client wake up thinking about?

What result do they want but haven’t achieved?

How does my offer bridge that gap?

Example Transformation:

From paycheck-to-paycheck → to financially confident & legacy-minded.

Your messaging should focus on that change — not just the features of your service.

2. Create Your Offer Ladder (Free → Core → Premium)

Think of your business like a journey, not a single sale.

3 Types of Offers:

Free Value: Lead magnets (vision worksheet, content series)

Core Offer: Your 1:1 coaching or flagship package

Premium Offer: Group programs, done-for-you strategy, speaking

This ladder helps people step in at their comfort level and gives you room to scale.

3. Communicate the Promise Clearly

Here’s a simple format you can use:

> “I help [who you serve] go from [problem] to [desired result] through [method].”

Example:

“I help busy families go from confused about money to confident in their financial legacy — using personalized strategy and coaching.”

Make this your elevator pitch, bio, and headline across platforms.

4. Bonus: Name Your Framework

Turn your process into a branded method. This builds authority fast.

My Own Example:

The Financial Legacy Method → Vision → Budget → Debt Strategy → Investing → Legacy Planning

This gives your offer structure, uniqueness, and memorability.
